Boot Camp Mission: Our boot camp is designed to familiarize researchers with microfluidic/micro-fabrication technologies. Attendees will learn to make microfluidic devices by soft lithography and perform several experiments using them. The course consists of lectures and hands-on laboratory experience.
Course Instructor: Saurabh Vyawahare (Director, Microfluidics Laboratory, Princeton Physical Sciences-Oncology Center) has several years of experience training students and post-doctoral scholars in microfluidic technologies. Dr. Vyawahare received his doctorate in Applied Physics from Caltech in 2006. Prior to joining the Princeton Physical Sciences-Oncology Center, he managed the Microfluidic Foundry at the Kavli Nanoscience Institute, Caltech.
Location: The Microfluidics Boot Camp will be held in Jadwin Hall at Princeton University, Princeton, NJ.
Registration: Pre-registration for the class is required due to small class size. This bootcamp is possible due to the generous support of Princeton University (including PRISM, Physics, Chemistry, Lewis Sigler Institute, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Molecular Biology, and offices of Dean, Engineering and Dean, Research).
